James A. Capp - CEO
As C.E.O. of Keystone Programming, James Capp has been providing programming and consulting services to businesses since 1981. In 1983, he recognized the value of UNIX's open-source philosophy and selected it as the platform for a variety of business applications.
In 1992, Jim co-founded Perfect Order, Inc., a consulting firm that provided custom programming and integration services to government and industry.
He founded Keystone Programming in 1994 and began a business relationship with Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA that led to the development of a comprehensive, browser-based sales force automation package for the real estate industry now known as LINX. He also led the development of a technique for data replication and sequenced administration of a distributed network of GNU/Linux Web servers.
In 1999, in conjunction with VA Linux, Jim developed OpenCRM, an advanced customer relationship management system that employs full Web architecture.
Jim founded the Harrisburg, Pa., UNIX Users Group (HUUG) in 1987. He is also a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE).
